Cost: Free. Learn how to build a low cost air cleaner and keep it for yourself or donate to someone in need.
On-Site Location Directions: The presentation is in the “tinker” building directly beside the church. The event is not in the church itself.

We're excited to announce our upcoming Build Your Own Air Cleaner event on Thursday, June 12th, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at St. Michael's Cathedral (608 Sutherland Ave.)

The City of Kelowna, in collaboration with Simon Fraser University and Interior Health, is offering a unique workshop where you can learn to build your own affordable and effective air cleaners.
This is a fantastic chance to prepare for wildfire season and improve indoor air quality, protecting yourself and your family from smoke and other pollutants.
You’ll get hands-on experience building an air cleaner using readily available materials like box fans and furnace filters.The workshop is scheduled for June 12th and is a private event just for neighbourhood associations like ours.
If you're concerned about indoor air quality and want to learn practical ways to protect your home, this is an event you don't want to miss!
After learning how to build your low cost air cleaner, you may take it with you to enjoy for yourself or donate it to a loved one!
